**Job Overview:**

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments

- Take X-rays and perform lab tasks under the direction of the dentist

- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

**Requirements:**

- Proficiency in medical coding and aseptic technique

- Experience in assisting with dental procedures

- Knowledge of dental systems such as Dentrix and Dexis

- Familiarity with X-Ray procedures

- Strong medical documentation skills

- Understanding of anatomy

- Ability to work well in a team environment
