Marketing Coordinator for Social Media, PR, Advertising, and Digital Content

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of various client social media, PR, digital, and advertising strategies.
• Assist in developing engaging content for social media platforms.
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
• Attend events for social media / PR content.
• Maintain unified brand voice of each client across the various social media channels.
• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
• Collaborate to create social media calendars, client proposals and strategic plans.
• Assist in organizing company and client workflows with the development and management of marketing strategies.

[Part Time Position approximately 25-30 hours per week)

Compensation based on experience.

This is a hybrid position with remote work hours and days in the office of Dinormous. Dinormous is a marketing and PR agency owned by Connoisseur Media with offices located in Milford, Connecticut. Our Connoisseur sister companies are also located in Milford and include: Ferocious Content, WICC 600, WPLR, STAR99.9, WEBE108, 94.3 WYBC, and 95.9 THE FOX. This coop Connoisseur Media workspace offers a professional atmosphere and unlimited resources in a collaborative creative environment. Position Requirements:

• Must have own car, be able to travel to events in Connecticut, as necessary.
• Hours may include some periodic weekend days and some evenings to attend client events.

Social Media/PR/Digital Assistant Qualifications / Skills:

• Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
• Strong content, copywriting, and copy-editing skills
• Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats
• Excellent social and listening skills
• Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
• Top-notch communication skills
• Impeccable time management skills with ability to multitask
• Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Communications, media, marketing or a related field
• Experience with social media marketing or content development.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) a must.
• Experience using Canva, Clip Champ, Meta Business a plus.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus.
