Payroll Specialist
Part-Time Position (15-20 hours a week)
The Payroll Specialist will process semi-monthly payroll for employees using QuickBooks for salaried, hourly and commissioned employees.
This is a Hybrid/Remote position. Employee must reside near Corvallis, Oregon and must be able to work on site minimum 3 days a month.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Days and hours of full time position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m (15-20 hours of week)
Summary
The Payroll/Bookkeeping Specialist position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong foundation in accounting principles, including GAAP and financial concepts. Proficiency in accounting software and experience with balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries are essential. Premium skills in QuickBooks and relevant experience in tax preparation and accounts payable/receivable are highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and be adept at account reconciliation tasks.
