We are looking for an experienced and passionate Business Analyst to provide professional support for our projects for the State of Florida in Tallahassee, Florida. The Business Analyst will work with a team of Technical staff, Business Analysts, and Consultants to implement and support enterprise business solutions. This is currently a hybrid work position that can be converted to an on-site position in the future. The candidate must be located in Tallahassee for in-person meetings.
We are looking for a self-starter to assist in complex, multidisciplinary project assignments. The candidate will serve as a liaison between the business group leaders, contract manager, and the development team to deliver technology solutions to support the business needs. The Business Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, meeting with stakeholders to discuss business processes, translating information compiled from meetings into written materials including mock-ups and business requirements, translating business requirements into functional specifications, and assisting with creating process workflow models/process maps and documentation to support various client projects and initiatives.
Candidates must have strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and good communication skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
