Job Description
A Board certified pediatrician is needed to join a private practice in a beautiful Florida location.
This opportunity offers a competitive salary based on experience. You will also be provided with medical/dental/vision benefits, paid vacation, CME days and malpractice insurance.
Performs clinical evaluation, problem assessments, initiates diagnostic and treatment plans and educates patients, and legal guardians. performing quality management activities and providing community/professional education offerings. Must be certified by The American Board of Pediatrics. Specialized care for children from birth to 18 years old.
Must encompasses the care, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions and issues that are generally specific to this younger population. Treat minor injuries, common illnesses, and some infectious diseases that may affect young people.
Job duties include taking patients' medical histories, examining patients, ordering any necessary medical tests, and creating a plan of treatment for the patient. Must be able to communicate this plan and any medical options to the parents of the patient and answer any questions that they may have concerning the course of action. Pediatrician responsibilities may also include administering vaccinations, providing preventative healthcare, and teaching patients and their parents about proper healthcare, like hygiene and nutrition. Nevertheless, must be care professionalism great communication skills
