Under general supervision, and according to general policies and standardized procedures, the Flowers Medical Group Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively with other clinical and medical professionals to provide comprehensive care for our patients. The Nurse Practitioner focuses on patient and family education and assists patients and their families in their efforts toward recovery and rehabilitation. This position is responsible for monitoring patient care and treatment. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Education:

• Must have graduated from an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Experience:

• Preferred minimum of one year experience in an Urgent Care Center, Physician Office, or Hospital setting.

Licenses/Certifications:

• A current Board of Nursing License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state practicing.
• A valid Board of Nursing License as a Registered Nurse in the state practicing.
• Must maintain current BLS certification.

• Bachelors or better in Nursing
• Associates or better in Nursing
