Geochemical Testing is hiring a full time Environmental Laboratory Technician.

Geochemical Testing is a NELAP accredited analytical laboratory that is certified in over 1,000 parameters of chemical analysis. This broad scope allows us to test groundwater, storm water, surface water, wastewater, soil, residual waste, oil and gas drill cuttings, production and frac water and more for a large number of contaminants and chemical properties.
Job Duties:
Follow all company policies and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure quality control.
Operate laboratory equipment and instruments such as centrifuges, agitators, balances, spectrometers, colorimeters, and other equipment.
Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records.
Analyze and retrieve data of Laboratory Samples.
Accesses data acquisition software and inputs test records and report results using a variety of computer software systems.
Prepares and tests routine raw materials used as ingredients in catalyst slurry production for such qualities as purity, stability, viscosity, density, chemical composition and concentration.
Follows strict safety procedures and safety checks in compliance with operating practices
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science preferred, but not required.
Previous environmental lab experience or credit in college level chemistry courses may be substituted for education requirements.
Ability to work as with a team, multitasking, and organizational skills a must.
Excellent Time Management Skills.
