Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Director of Finance to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting to guide the company's financial decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/oversee accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivables, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare/submit monthly grant funder billing reports
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Prepare Profit/Loss; Balance Sheet/Monthly YTD reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Manage depreciation schedules
- Monitor cash flow, investments, and risk management activities
- Assist auditor during audit including coordination and preparation
- Ensure financial systems conform to 24 CFR 84.20 and CFR 84.27 requirements
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in non-profit accounting and financial analysis
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial accounting practices
- Experience with Non-Profit QuickBooks
