Downtown Los Angeles law firm seeks a litigation professional with 1-3 years personal injury experience or employment law experience for our Case Manager position.
We are interested to welcoming a motivated and ambitious member to the team. Under the general direction of the partners, the Case Manager will be responsible for managing a heavy caseload and handling all aspects of running firm.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience handling personal injury or employment law matters with a firm grasp of the Code of Civil Procedure and / or the Labor Code. The candidate should have at least one-year experience propounding and responding to discovery
- Handling service of process, investigations, and filing documents with the court.
- Preparing trial binders / exhibit binders.
- Drafting complaints, notices, motions, oppositions and replies.
- Calendaring.
- Case management, scheduling, and correspondence with opposing Counsel.
- Knowledge of Case Management System - A1, Clio, FileVine, MyCase
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus'
