GymFIT Physical Therapy & Wellness is looking for a dynamic Physical Therapy Technician to perform a variety of clerical and patient care duties essential to the daily operation of the clinic. We have a wonderful working environment! We're looking for a friendly outgoing personality to give patients a 5-star experience. This is a non-licensed position and on-the-job training is provided. Part-time morning and afternoon/evening is available in Owings, MD.
These duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet patients immediately upon arrival in pleasant and positive manner.
- Act as liaison between clinician and patients
- Notify clinical staff of changes in schedules.
- Perform check-in procedures; obtain appropriate signatures for required documents.
- Collect payment from patients as required.
- Completing set-ups and clean-up for patient care and other patient care duties as determined by the therapist
- Able to perform “close out” procedures at end of day.
- Maintain cleanliness of clinic.
- Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records.

Requirements
- HS Diploma Required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as in patient care is preferred.
- Effective time management; organized, timely, detail-oriented, pleasant and friendly attitude
- Able to work in a team environment
- Customer service skills for interacting with patients, including communicating with patients and family members of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Must be able to utilize computer systems, software, and copier.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
