The Host/Hostess is responsible for coordinating the service of breakfast to Company standards while maintaining the cleanliness, inventories and health/safety procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sets up breakfast at the scheduled times.
• Ensures all food items and service equipment are stocked and available to guests during service hours.
• Greet all guests who attend and accommodate needs/requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas as well as kitchen before, during and after service.
• Ensure countertops and machines are clean and in good working condition at all times.
• Complete all logs, checklists and required documentation (Red Book) daily and present to Manager for sign off.
• Complete accurate inventories and rotate stock daily or as needed.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of public spaces.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, Licensure and Certification:

• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) months related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develop alternative solutions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations; includes the ability to respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and needs.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times; treat others with respect and consideration.
• Knowledge of and ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; report potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
• Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience whether verbally or written.
• Skill in the use of computers and related software applications.
• Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule and to be at work on time. Will require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules will vary dependent on business needs and will include weekends and Holidays.
