Headway Capital Multifamily is Hiring a Remote Investor Relations Associate

We are a Commercial Real Estate Investment firm looking for a dynamic, high energy, self-starter, and ambitious individual who is looking to grow with the company and create a long term career.

Headway Capital is an investment firm focused on the acquisition of existing value-add Multifamily real estate in Texas. Our current portfolio comprises $500M in assets under management. We are also vertically integrated and self-manage over 1,200 units.

We are seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join our growing team and work in a remote setting. The Investor Relations Associate will lead efforts to drive new Capital Opportunities from prospects and existing Investors, develop relationships with new COIs and RIAs/Family Office contacts, financial services/Wealth Management/ Private Banking, high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth investors and their advisors and service existing Investors while gathering additional Capital opportunities, referrals, and consistently deliver uncompromising service to investors. You must be an expert at prospecting and generating leads for prospective investors by calling, texting, emailing, and leveraging social media and webinar platforms to connect with potential clients.

The ideal candidate will create confidence with investors through their reliable and friendly white-glove service, will possess expert knowledge on apartment syndication and the industry, will be a consummate team player and open communicator, and perform all responsibilities with accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and integrity. Candidates may need to travel up to 25% of the year.

This is a remote position. You can work remotely from anywhere you want as long as it's a quiet, undisturbed environment that can be presentable to clients over zoom/phone calls. Hours are flexible, minus meeting requirements. This is the role for someone who is target driven.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Commissions totaling $125k in total compensation

Requirements:

  • Proven, consistent performance in financial services/Wealth Management/ Private Banking, working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth investors and their advisors via deep investor relationships
  • Verifiable track record of raising $5M annually for real estate projects
  • 5 years of experience raising equity for real estate private equity firms or real estate funds.
  • Proven roster of active investors.
  • Proven track record building Investor Relations process and teams.
  • Real estate investment experience
  • Account management experience
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and consistent track record of performance based on results-driven activities
  • Strong servant-leadership qualities
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and internal team members
  • Proven ability to create and implement innovative solutions
  • Assist with leading investor event attendance and conversion to face to face follow up meetings

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability to raise $10MM to $20MM common equity from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional sources for the capitalization of Multifamily Projects and Hard Money Lending partnerships.
  • Cultivate new capital market relationships for Equity and Debt.
  • Help manage our current roster of investors.
  • Develop and maintain an “investor” acquisition program.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the institutional and private capital.
  • Manage all investor relations and activity in the firm's Platform.
  • Experience in the creation of Pitch Decks and related Capital Markets marketing materials.
  • Recommend and develop brand positioning strategies and represent firm's in local, regional, and national industry events.
  • Assist in managing all aspects of debt financing, from securing debt to closing of the asset.
  • Supervise the KYC (Know Your Client) process and manage investor relations.

  • Hold Quarterly Investor Review Meetings
  • Aggressively listen and engage in productive conversations
  • Use unmatched telephone communication skills to convert leads
  • Gather referrals from current Investors and Firm’s Team Members
  • Provide referrals to other Firm’s lines of business through exceptional relationship-building
  • Develop a reputation with investors for responsiveness, service, and positive outcomes
  • Gather Raving 5-star Reviews and testimonials from Investors
  • Represent your organization as a cultural leader who consistently executes on your key metrics
  • Utilize CRM and company tools/technology to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of sales and service efforts
  • Collect all required information for new investments and additions
  • Active participation in all applicable company meetings
  • Assist with leading investor event attendance and conversion to face to face follow up meetings
  • Consistently follow up and follow through

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Accomplished skill set with Scheduling and Estimating is required.
  • Independent decision making, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to coordinate numerous projects simultaneously
  • Must be willing to travel ~ amount of travel will fluctuate depending on projects
  • Must be self-motivated, disciplined and organized
  • Must be willing to grow with the Company
  • Previous experience with multifamily or commercial property investments
  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a time sensitive environment.
  • Passion for Real Estate.
  • Bilingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
