Furniture Store Assistant

We are seeking a Furniture Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers with furniture selection and provide exceptional customer service in a retail setting.

About the Role

In this role, you'll provide exceptional customer service by assisting our sales team on the showroom floor and handling some light office tasks. You'll be a valuable asset to our team, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

* Assist salespeople on the showroom floor by greeting customers, answering questions about products, and helping them find what they're looking for.

* Maintain the showroom floor by keeping it neat and organized.

* Process sales orders, invoices, and other paperwork.

* Answer phones and emails in a professional and courteous manner.

*Assist designers with product merchandising - may involve hanging pictures, staging vignettes and accessorizing.

* Assist with light administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.

*Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Excellent customer service skills

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Organized and detail-oriented

* Basic computer skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
