Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Provide instruction in science for K-5th grade students
- Create meaningful learning opportunities for students in indoor and outdoor lab spaces following state standards.
- Use effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development.
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance instruction.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
- Develops sets up, and conducts science laboratory experiments appropriate to the age range and abilities of students.
- Use Questioning and Discussion Techniques: Quality Questions, Engaging Discussion Techniques, Ensuring Student Participation.
- Engage Students in Learning: Activities, Assignments, Grouping of Students, Use of Instructional Materials and Resources, Structure and Pacing.
-Use Assessment in Instruction: Assessment Criteria, Monitoring of Student Learning, Feedback to Students, Student Self-Assessment and Monitoring of Progress.
- Demonstrate Flexibility and Responsiveness: Lesson Adjustment, Response to Students, and Persistence.

Experience:
- Experience in literacy education and early intervention strategies.
- Background in early childhood education or experience working with young children.

- Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive learning environment.
