Hospice Care of Middletown is a non-profit, community based hospice whose mission is to enhance quality of life, maintain dignity, and provide comfort in life’s final stages.

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work Full-time or Part-time as an On-Call Nurse for weekend coverage. As a hospice nurse, you will participate in providing end of life care for your patients. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assessment of patient to determine hospice needs
• Professional nursing care including the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician and plan of care
• Communicate with interdisciplinary team and attend IDT meetings
• Maintain clinical notes and related documentation
• Counsel the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs

Qualified candidates must possess a current Ohio Nurse license and a Valid Driver’s License. Minimum of two years of experience in hospice or home health setting preferred.
