John Kennedy Collision Center in Willow Grove has a rare opportunity for an individual looking to enter the collision repair business as an Estimator Trainee.

Are you passionate about automobiles and have a keen eye for detail? As a collision estimator, you will play a vital role in our operations by accurately assessing the damage to vehicles and providing detailed car repair estimates.

We are looking for someone with a background in automotive, either on the sales side or in the service part of the business.

You do not have to possess a PA Estimator’s License; we will help you earn that.

We will train you to evaluate the damage to the vehicle's body, frame, paint, and other components.

You will learn how to provide estimates for the cost and time required to repair the vehicle, including parts, labor, and materials.

Responsibilities :

• Greet customers to begin the process of estimating parts and labor to create an estimate that will be submitted to insurance companies.
• Examine damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage.
• Knowledge of most major Insurance Direct Repair Program protocols and the ability to upload estimates / images online that meet those standards.
• Maintain contact with customers while the vehicle is in the repair process, keeping them updated on the repair status.
• Reconcile and prepare for invoicing final invoices that match approved estimates.
• Contact customers well in advance of completion to communicate when they can expect the repair to be completed.
