Role and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Quality Control Floor Supervisor is to be responsible for the direct supervision of the QC Technicians and production floor activities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum bachelor’s degree in animal science, Nutrition or Microbiology for Animals or comparable experience or have applicable experience as substitute for college degrees.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of quality control and sanitation procedures.
Knowledge of HACCP requirements.
Must be well organized and detail oriented.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must possess ability to interact tactfully and effectively with subordinates and management.
Working ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Additional Notes
This position is directly responsible for:
Monitoring quality activities throughout the plant.
Microbiological testing and program compliance.
Managing the Quality Control technicians.
This position is expected to be on the production floor 90% of the work week.
This position is also expected to act as the backup for:
Acting as the USDA liaison.
Back of for QC Technicians on the production floor.
This position is expected to work 45-50 hours a week, including weekends or as needed to get the job done.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
