We’re looking to add to our Maintenance Team by hiring one full-time or several part-time highly skilled Maintenance Technicians!

Our maintenance technicians are responsible for maintaining our current property portfolio by performing make-ready tasks on vacant dwellings, preventative maintenance including changing air filters, landscaping and testing alarms, and various work orders assigned through our property management team and directly through tenants.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, dwellings, structures, equipment, and systems to identify and troubleshoot any issues
• Repair faulty equipment, residential and commercial units, and damaged structures
• Communicate need for contracted services to maintenance supervisor(s) or third parties directly
• Manage heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality
• Plan and schedule repairs through maintenance supervisor(s) and external partners
• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard
• Perform general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, installing windows, flooring, tile, drywall, and carpentry
• Complete occasional after-hours maintenance tasks especially during high volume times
• Complete other miscellaneous property maintenance tasks as directed

Requirements

• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
• Physically capable and available to work after-hours and/or overtime, if needed, including evenings, weekends, and some public holidays
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Organized and have ability to prioritize tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
