Pick/Load/Unload Orders, as directed
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Deliver items to appropriate departments and/or locations.
- Review outgoing products to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Scan items to ensure products are shipped to the right destination or received and stored properly.
- Delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product to final destination
- Safe handling of equipment and following safety procedures.
- Ensure that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Maintains and monitors the cleanliness of employees’ working area.
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
- Scan items to ensure products are shipped to the right destination or received and stored properly.
- Follow all company policies & procedures.
- Accomplish all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
- Other tasks and duties as asked or required.
