Job Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions:

• Recording daily transactions in the accounting system.
• Processing invoices and expense reports.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconciling bank statements and maintaining financial records.

Financial Reporting:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
• Generating financial reports for management review.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Supporting budget preparation and monitoring.
• Assisting in financial forecasting and variance analysis.

Audit and Compliance:

• Assisting with internal and external audits.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintaining documentation for audits.

General Support:

• Providing general administrative support to the accounting department.
• Assisting with special projects as assigned.
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve financial issues.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, but not required.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
