We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team. As a Kennel Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing heavy lifting tasks.Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service to clients and their pets- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and other animal holding areas- Feed and water animals according to schedules- Administer medications as directed by veterinarians or supervisors- Monitor animal behavior and report any changes to the supervisor- Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving bags of food and litterSkills:- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments- Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience in animal care is preferred but not requiredThis is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with animals and is looking for a challenging and rewarding career.
