Little Light Pre-K is Hiring a Summer Camp Counselor Near Flushing, NY
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Summer Camp Counselor to join our team and provide a fun and safe environment for children attending our camp. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and excited to share our summer theme of Habitats with our campers!

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage campers in various activities alongside fellow counselors
- Foster a positive and engaging environment
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers
- Assist in resolving conflicts among campers
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members
- Encourage active participation in group games, arts and crafts, and other activities
Experience:
- Experience working with children or students
- Ability to manage classroom or group settings effectively
Requirements:
-Must be legally allowed to work with children in NY state
- CPR and First Aid certified - We can support you in this after hire
- Comprehensive background check prior to beginning to work
- Fingerprinted by the Department of Education
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
