At Leaps & Bounds Gymnastics Company, our mission is to help give students a challenging, engaging learning experience that’s also 100% fun. We’re committed to providing coaching that builds strong bodies and even stronger minds. Our Ellwood City & New Castle facilities offer recreational classes. Our schedule includes Mommy & Me Gymnastics, Preschool Gymnastics, Beginner-Advanced Gymnastics, Beginner- Advanced Tumbling, Private Lessons, and Birthday Parties.

The Assistant Manager/Birthday Coordinator will perform the following job responsibilities:

• Afternoon/evening hours during the week
• Birthday party planning & communication
• Planning and staffing special events & clinics
• Buying supplies for gym and events
• Running Saturday events on the day of
• Shift supervisor at both Ellwood & New Castle locations
• Overseeing employees and training
• Maintaining good morale in the gym
• Communicating in person with parents and students
• Cleaning and basic maintenance of both gyms
• Administrative tasks
• Email & phone communication with customers
• Scheduling and maintenance of accounts
• Processing payments
• Birthday postcards and other mailings
• Any miscellaneous office work

Additional requirements:

• Gymnastics/cheerleading background, and previous coaching/teaching experience preferred but not required.
• A love of kids, and a love of gymnastics.
• Must provide up to date clearances, fingerprints, successfully complete Safety Certification through USAG, and CPR Certification while training.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed
