Job Overview

Oregon Wire is seeking an person to join our production team. Department is S&C, short for Straighten and Cut wire. This is the starting point for about 35% of work on the shop floor. This department supplies our custom fab department alongside any customer orders that are placed for straight wire cut to length. We receive round wire on stands of up to 2,500 lbs. We run the bent wire through a series of straightening dyes and cut them to various lengths. You will be taught how to set up various machines as not all machines run all sizes of wire. You will be trained to run multiple machines at once to maximize output. This position does require you to be trained on our day shift (5AM-3:30PM) for a minimum of 1 month before moving to swing shift( 2:30PM-100AM). Must be bilingual. Spanish/English

Fulltime Swing position

Payrate- $18-$22/hr DOE (Shift diff after training-$1.50/hr)

Hours- Mon-Thurs 5am-330pm
