MaryMac's Doggie Retreat is a boutique retreat and spa that specializes in caring for overly anxious dogs. We pride ourselves on being a fear-free environment by practicing the Doggie Daycare 2.0. We are looking for motivated individuals to join the team at MaryMac’s as a Team Lead. The positions available are part time (20-30 hours a week), Monday – Sunday and to work some holidays as we are open every day of the year. You will be working with dogs, monitoring small play groups, cleaning the facility, and providing great service to the dogs and customers.

Reliable transportation, a positive attitude, and dependability are a must. Experience working or volunteering with dogs is preferred or Experience in the Hospitality Industry with great customer service is also favorable.

1. Due to the fluctuating and physical demands of MaryMac’s operation, (such as cleaning, bending, standing for long periods, stooping, lifting up to 50lbs, and working weekends & holidays) it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or directed.

2. Adhere to all the various written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which make up the essential functions of the job.

3. Ensure the utmost safety and cleanliness.

4. Interview all dogs for socially acceptable behavior.

5. Monitor all Day Campers and Night Campers and ensure a clean and safe environment.

6. Insure all feedings and medications for Campers with daily checklists.

7. Assist groomers with washing and drying.

8. Make reservations for day and night campers, and accept payments for services.

9. Follow established service protocols and procedures to ensure quality customer service.

10. Be a “Team Player”.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
