Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate drawings for fabrication, recording precise measurements, and annotating drawings with necessary details such as hardware, color, size, and material. Experience with CNC programming and operation is a significant advantage. Additionally, candidates with graphic design experience and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create detailed CAD drawings for metal fabrication projects.

- Read and record accurate measurements for fabrication.

- Annotate drawings with specific details regarding hardware, color, size, and material.

- Assist in CNC programming and operation (a significant plus).

- Utilize graphic design skills to support various projects (a plus).

- Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure accurate and efficient production.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and records.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Trimble SketchUp and LayOut.

- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

- Experience with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable.

- Graphic design skills and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and Canva are a plus.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
