CLINIC RN / LPN POSITIONThe Clinic RN/LPN Position at Momenta Pain Care is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to physicians in order to achieve optimal patient care. The Clinic RN/LPN assists physicians in daily activities such as preparing patients for visits, examinations, and procedures. The Clinic RN/LPN supports physicians through a variety of tasks related to patient visits, procedures, medical record management, organization, and communication. Our board-certified Pain Specialists are committed to providing a comprehensive and innovative approach to patients who suffer from acute and chronic pain. Dr. Peter Piperis and Dr. Griffith Evans provide patients with compassionate care using the most advanced, minimally invasive techniques available. Our holistic approach is based on a three-pronged philosophy: that optimal pain care is achieved when a specialist addresses the physical, social, and psychological needs of a patient. Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school/college of nursing required
Currently licensed as a RN/LPN in the state of Nebraska
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures required
Demonstrated effective communication skills required
Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility required
Skill to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
Skill to proficiently execute an efficient clinic
Ability to provide compassionate patient care
Ability to critically listen to questions from patients and information from providers to convey information effectively
Ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve problems
Ability to learn and proficiently navigate through medical software
Strong verbal communication skills for positive interaction with providers, staff and patients required
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions/directions required
Ability to complete all responsibilities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner
Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) understanding
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices to successfully complete essential job functions
Ability to convey professional demeanor and sound judgment in dealing with patients’ care, protection of patient privacy, and confidentiality
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
