Seeking Data Collectors/Child Assessors:
The National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) at Rutgers University is seeking Data Collectors/Child Assessors to conduct child assessments on Infant and Toddler aged-children to study early childhood education in New Jersey state-wide (Newark, Morristown, Passaic, Dover, Union City, Atlantic City, New Brunswick, Mount Holly, Salem, Asbury Park, Camden, Trenton, Vineland, Penns Grove, Stirling, Willingboro, Burlington, and Hackettstown).
Applicants preferred: graduate students, applicants with a BA/BS, or current upperclassman undergraduate students focusing on child development, early childhood, psychology, or a related field, withholding an excellent academic record (GPA of 3.0 or better). In addition, knowledge about child development and developmentally appropriate early childhood teaching practices is preferred (e.g., Teacher, Child Assessor, etc.). Experience in classroom settings and/or working with children aged 0-5 is highly preferred.
