Job Summary: The Behavioral Healthcare Counselor is responsible for the delivery of assessments/intakes, individual counseling, group counseling and related services to for Opioid Use Disorder patients. The Behavioral Healthcare Counselor will maintain a caseload and provide all support services to clients. Files must be kept up-to-date and able to pass review/audit of superiors. The Behavioral Healthcare Counselor will also be responsible for working with clients and developing a treatment plan and following that plan or revising that plan with the client in the case of necessity. The Behavioral Healthcare Counselor is responsible for the quality and effectiveness of patient care, delivered with compassion, integrity, and professionalism.
