Job Type: Full Time (open to the possibility of part time)

We are looking for a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will provide early intervention treatment for children ages 2-5 within our clinic-based ABA program. The BCBA position is a leadership role. Our BCBAs help develop and shape our program. They also train and support our behavior technicians. Interest in continued learning and teaching is essential in this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete skill assessments, functional behavior assessments, and identify intervention goals.
  • Draft assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports for insurance authorizations.
  • Draft behavior analytic programs targeting identified intervention goals.
  • Must be proficient with Central Reach to create graphs and other behavior observation measurement tools.
  • Monitor client progress through analysis of program data and make program modifications to ensure continual progress toward goals.
  • Conduct observations of program implementation by staff, parents, and other key caregivers. As well as provide needed training to support effect program implementation.
  • Be able to problem solve treatment fidelity concerns and adjust treatment protocols if needed.
  • Provide and document biweekly supervision for RBTs.
  • Monitor due dates for RBT renewals.
  • Conduct RBT competency tests.
  • Review clinical notes completed by RBTs and provided additional training to RBTs as needed.
  • Maintain, train, and model BACB ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate clinical notes and billing for activities performed.
  • Share client progress data, prepare clinical questions, and participate in case reviews in weekly meetings.
  • Stay abreast of current empirically validated studies and evidence-based procedures.
  • Stays current with BACB newsletters and standard updates.
  • Actively participate in the team's community of practice and contribute to fellow BCBAs’ ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

- Must hold a Master’s degree or higher.

- Must hold or be able to obtain BCBA certification before start date.

- Must obtain licensure within the state of Alaska before start date.

- Ability to commute or relocate to Anchorage within 1-month of hire.

- This is an in-person position.
