Required Skills/Abilities:
- MTS Seating, headquartered in Temperance, MI, seeks an Employee Service and Payroll Coordinator to work in our fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills and be detail-oriented, outgoing, and engaging. This position will report to the Employee Service Manager and work cross-functionally throughout MTS.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

- Public speaking and presentation skills
- Punctuality and task promptness are a must
- Be reliable and maintain strict confidentiality
- Courteous phone skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with NOVAtime, DM Payroll Services, or general payroll tasks is beneficial
- Maintain employee, payroll, and safety records
- Assist in weekly payroll and periodically process payroll solely
- Process payroll account transactions(Example: bonuses, garnishments, deductions, taxes, terminations, new hires, raises, and workers compensation)
- Enter piece rate cards and calculate tablet entry data with 100% accuracy
- Assist with new employee onboarding and recruiting
- Develop and implement employment ads for job fairs
- Maintain attendance and vacation records for all employees
- Maintain employee performance review files
- Issue write-ups and notifications based on attendance records
- Order supplies and maintain the office supply room
- Attend yearly employment law education seminars
- Assist with miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor
- A minimum of 1 year of Employee Services or Payroll experience
