Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Life Support (ALS) Education Manager to lead our Advanced Life Support programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in EMS, particularly in ALS, with a proven track record in educational leadership and management. This role involves both teaching and overseeing a team of educators to ensure the highest standards of ALS training for aspiring paramedics.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Instruction:

o Develop, review, and update ALS curriculum to align with current industry standards and best practices.

o Conduct regular classes and practical training sessions for paramedic students, ensuring effective learning outcomes.

o Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs

Team Management and Leadership:

o Manage and lead a team of educators, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

o Foster a collaborative and supportive educational environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.

o Conduct performance evaluations and manage staff schedules to ensure effective program delivery.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

o Ensure the paramedic program complies with all relevant local, state, and national accreditation standards and regulations.

o Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high educational standards.

o Stay abreast of developments in EMS, integrating new techniques and knowledge into the program.

Student Assessment and Support:

o Oversee and participate in student assessments, providing constructive feedback and remedial support as needed.

o Advise and mentor students on academic and career development.

o Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to students’ academic progress.

Collaboration and Outreach:

o Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and institutions to enhance training opportunities and program visibility.

o Participate in community outreach programs to promote public awareness of the paramedic profession.

o Represent the program at conferences, seminars, and professional meetings.

As an ALS Education Manager , you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of emergency medical services. Your responsibilities will include:

Educating and Training: Provide high-quality instruction at both the EMT and Paramedic levels, using innovative teaching methods and up-to-date curriculum.

Mentoring: Guide students through their journey to becoming competent EMS professionals, offering support, advice, and expertise.

Evaluating: Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and ensure that our graduates are ready to deliver exceptional patient care.

Contributing to Curriculum Development: Help in developing and updating course materials to reflect the latest trends and best practices in emergency medical services.
