This is a full- time, 40 hours a week service position, with bi-weekly living stipend.

Summary of Responsibilities (Full Description Available)

• Assist in intake screenings for potential clients seeking affirmative immigration relief
• Draft USCIS forms and prepare application packets
• Interpret at asylum interviews and translate client documents from Spanish to English
• Maintain clients’ physical and digital files and collect and track data
• Work with local social services agencies to assist clients with applying for and receiving benefits

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Spanish is required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
• Ability to complete prepare written documents with attention to accuracy
• Proficiency in Google Workspace Apps, Microsoft Word, Adobe Pro, Excel, and Al Otro Lado’s database management system
• Self-directed, innovative, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
• Must be committed to immigrant rights and advocating for justice

Pay: $2,636.00 per month
