The role of the District Sales Manager is to lead the sales and marketing efforts for The Nucor Plate Group in support of taking care of our customers. This position will require extensive travel. Must be willing to relocate. The successful candidate will be responsible for quoting and securing business: spot and contract, providing forecasts, and recommending new business and customers. Supporting the Plate Group’s strategic growth initiatives as well as Nucor’s Commercial Excellence and Nucor enterprise initiatives are essential. Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and team work within our Quality Control System. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
