Safety Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to oversee and implement safety protocols in our workplace. The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety awareness among employees.

This role is crucial for monitoring, enhancing, and maintaining the health and safety of company personnel, equipment and worksites.

The Safety Coordinator will collaborate closely with operations to integrate and reinforce a strong safety culture throughout multiple levels of Phoenix Drilling LLC.

Responsible for daily field and office engagement ensuring safety policies are implemented in daily operational practices by assisting with, presenting, coordinating, and maintaining safety program implementation and review.

Safety Coordinator will actively identify safety risks, seeking to influence compliance with a solution-oriented approach.

* Ensure safety training record keeping is up to date.

* Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations both company and client safety protocols.

* Provide guidance to field personnel, supervisors and management to ensure necessary resources are available and used to properly support the safety program and operations.

*Meet with customer safety and field professionals to conduct meetings and review job performance.

*Develop and oversee safety programs including risk management plans, emergency response planning and audit.

*Responds as needed at any time day or night to accidents/incidents, conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports and documentations.

*Provide safety orientation, ongoing training and support to new and existing personnel on various safety topics.

*Regular field visits to audit and enhance safety practices.

*Perform additional assignments or other duties for safety program maintenance as directed.

Requirements:

Pec Veriforce SafelandUSA 2021, H2s Clear, Cpr, Fit Test

Minimum 2 years of experience in a safety role, with a preference for candidates with oil and gas experience

Must be local (Midland,Odessa area)

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.

Capable of managing data in safety management systems

Excellent teamwork skills and a consultative approach to compliance and operations.

Ability to maintain effective work behaviors in the face of setback or pressure

Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop practical and creative solutions

Must possess a valid driver's license

Required to pass both urine and alcohol test

Salary $65K to $80K annually DOE
