Pink Noire Beauty Supplies And Cosmetics in Memphis, TN is looking for one sales associate to join our team. We are located on 152 N Avalon. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers by greeting them and offering them assistance.
• Directs customers by escorting them to our products.
• Advises customers by providing information on products.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
• Use judgment to solve customer problems.
• Maintains scheduling commitments.
• Properly greeting guests as they enter.
• Ensuring that the store is clean and organized for optimal client experience. (I.E. bathrooms, cash wrap, backroom and sales floor).
• Assisting with customer advice on hair , cosmetics, skin care, and all things beauty.
• Ability to recommend products and styles to our clients based on their needs.
• Active knowledge and informing clients of store sales and promotions.
• Ability to multitask and assist multiple clients at a time.
• Stocking, updating and maintaining products on shelves throughout the duration of shift.
• Active inventory management and quality control.
• Setting up advertising displays and arranging merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events
• Ensuring that our customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program
• Completing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Helping to eliminate and/or reduce potential theft and shrink of product by providing exceptional guest service and maintaining awareness while on the sales floor.
• Courteously handling sales, refunds and exchanges.
• Ensuring all resets and planograms are executed properly.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Excellent verbal skills
• Able to problem solve as issues arise
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience is preferred.
• A strong passion for beauty, cosmetics and customer engagement.
• Ability to work well with others and in team settings.
• Ability to take initiative to follow through with or begin a task.
• 1 year of retail experience preferred, but not required
