Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Service Manager to oversee our automotive service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics, repair, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure efficient workflow within the service department
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Oversee vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
- Develop service estimates and communicate with customers regarding recommended services
- Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Implement strategies to increase service department profitability through upselling and effective cost management

Skills:

- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills with customers and team members
- Knowledge of dealership operations and service department best practices
- Experience in auto estimating and upselling services
- Familiarity with auto body repair processes
- Ability to align team goals with company objectives
- Prior experience in automotive sales is a plus
- Understanding of oil change procedures and maintenance services
