Sustainability and Permit Production Coordinator

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a Sustainability and Permit Production Coordinator, who is a self-starter and wants the opportunity to grow within a company that will be building 200 homes in 2024. We are in hyper growth mode and expect to consistently deliver well beyond 200 homes each year. We are currently #BuildingAGreenerColorado with our sights set beyond Colorado! Compensation:

Compensation for this position will be commensurate with experience and total pay package between $75,500-$95,500 to start.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with USGBC’s LEED certification and sustainability trends and best practices within residential construction industry.
  • Experience processing and ushering permits during entitlements, architecture and construction project. Identifying and managing the processes and regulations within the Denver area.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and time management skills. Proficient in spreadsheets and data analysis
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • 3 years experience in construction, real estate, or related fields.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Asana, Procore, or similar project management platforms
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Candidates must be willing to relocate to the Denver Metro Area upon employment

Primary Responsibilities:

Sustainability Leadership:

  • Coordinate with energy consultants and field teams to obtain required documentation for LEED certifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to champion sustainability initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of emerging sustainability trends and best practices.

Permitting Expertise:

  • Work in a cross-functional capacity to support Entitlements, Architecture and Construction for permit reporting, tracking and completion.
  • Efficiently acquire and manage all necessary permits throughout project lifecycles.
  • Maintain meticulous records and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Anticipate and resolve potential permitting challenges proactively.

Operational Excellence:

  • Support Purchasing Department in administrative capacity, as directed.
  • Provide administrative support to streamline workflows and communication within the operations team.
  • Manage construction project data and documents, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives. work with our accounting team to resolve issues as needed
