Responsibilities include:

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Comply with financial policies and regulations

Experience/Skills:

• 2 years of accounting experience in CPA firm
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Knowledge of S-Corp and Partnership accounting rules
• Possess advanced QuickBooks desktop/ QuickBooks online skills and experience
• Should have at least intermediate Excel skills - VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Be detailed oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently, while maintaining confidential records
• Complete understanding and ability to process payroll related entries
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
