Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

About Us: Join our dedicated team at our private preschool in Cartersville, GA, where we are committed to providing a strong early learning program for children aged six weeks through six years. Our curriculum features robust Infant, Toddler, Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten programs, along with an engaging Summer Enrichment program.

Position Summary: We are seeking thoughtful, imaginative, and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to enhance our program. Our educators play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the growth and development of our youngest community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build responsive relationships with all children, families, and co-workers
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans using approved school curriculums
• Maintain accurate records and reports as per school policies and Georgia state regulations
• Uphold and model professional and ethical standards
• Utilize a variety of approved methods and materials to engage students in cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth
• Assist with diaper changing and toilet training when required
• Perform other duties as specified and directed

Qualifications:

• A genuine passion for early childhood education
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to plan and execute creative and effective lesson plans
• Knowledge of child development principles and practices
• Ability to adhere to school policies and state regulations
• Experience in early childhood education is preferred

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Georgia state-issued CDA
• Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate degrees are preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field
• Must pass extensive criminal background and drug screens
• Must be available and willing to work Saturdays
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
