HAND THERAPISTS who are BURNED OUT out from the typical hand therapy clinics here is your chance! We have a unique Outpatient Hand Therapy/Wellness/Aesthetics Clinic located in South Windsor, CT. We have a opening for an experienced Occupational Therapist/ Certified Hand Therapist or a Occupational Therapist with strong hand therapy experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys treating but is ready to step into a mentorship role with progression into a Supervisor position. We are open Mon - Friday. We offer a beautiful laid back clinic setting on the 1st floor with large windows, lots of natural light. The focus is on providing excellent patient care and excellent customer service while having fun in the process. On average we scheudle 8-10 patients a day per therapist. Our EMR is simple and intuitive to use. We offer cash based services as well that are researched backed and are cutting edge such as red light, cryotherapy and Amino Neuro Frequency Therapy, Functional Nurtition Health coaching to help our patients and clients to recover faster naturally, minimizing the need for steroid injections and surgeries. Requirements

CT Licensure/ Department of Health Occupational Therapy Board. 

Hand Therapy Certification with the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTC) *****preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

· Developing individualized treatment plans for patients

· Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan

· Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury

· Recording patients’ progress and modifying the plan of care if needed

· Educating patients and family members about the recovery process

***A great personality and being open minded with a willngness to learn and grow is a must

***Must have Custom fabrication of thermoplastic orthoses experience
