About Sony Hall

Nestled inside the Paramount Hotel, which was built in the 1920’s as part of the expansion of the theater district, Sony Hall originally opened in 1938 as the Diamond Horseshoe, famed nightclub and extravaganza variety show led by theatrical showman Billy Rose. It quickly became one of the most iconic venues of the vaudeville era and was known for the off- Broadway hit “Queen of the Night”. In 2009, the French renaissance and baroque detailed building received architectural recognition by being designated a New York City landmark.

In 2018, the space reopened as Sony Hall, leaving much of the venue’s dynamic design

intact. It's a 12,000 sq. foot concert hall in a one-of-a-kind space enhanced by Sony technology that provides music fans with an unrivaled entertainment experience.
