Our Freight Receiving/Floor Associate position includes 1 overnight shift per week beginning Thursday 1am to Thursday 10am to receive our overnight freight. This shift is the only overnight shift and is a team of 3 staff members (This shift includes a shift differential). All additional shifts occur during our usual business hours which are M-F 7am-7pm, Sat 8am-6pm, and Sun 8am-5pm. The additional shifts could be full or part-time and include daily interaction and assistance with customers in which a high level of customer service is expected in a team environment. Experience operating a forklift and skid steer are helpful but not required. We offer competitive wages, a benefit package and a substantial employee discount. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload merchandise from trucks
- Sort and organize merchandise
- Stock shelves and displays with new inventory
- Ensure products are labeled and priced correctly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist customers with locating merchandise
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions

Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory
- Basic understanding of retail math for pricing and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills to assist customers and work as part of a team
- Experience operating a cash register is preferred, but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
