St. Andrew’s School seeks a part-time assistant athletic trainer for the 2024-2025 academic year. St. Andrew’s was founded in 1929 as an independent, Episcopal boarding school. The school educates about 315 students from around the world each year in an all-residential setting, and has a long-standing commitment to financial aid and socioeconomic diversity. Our students and faculty come from a wide range of backgrounds, traditions, and experiences, and it is this variety that creates a vibrant and challenging learning environment that makes our worlds larger.
St. Andrew’s is an associate member school in the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association and a member of the Delaware Independent School Conference.
This position will report to the assistant athletic director and work collaboratively with a sports medicine doctor. The incumbent must be prompt, dependable, and flexible providing sideline medical coverage for practices and games.
This position will work approximately 20 hours per week beginning August 19, 2024 until May 31, 2025. Typical hours are 3:15 PM to 6:30 PM Monday through Friday. Other shifts outside of the typical hours may occasionally be necessary based on game schedules and as needed on Saturdays.
Breaks include a fall long weekend (4 days), Thanksgiving recess (9 days), winter recess (18 days), a winter long weekend (4 days), spring recess (15 days), and a spring long weekend (4 days).
