Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical/Operations Engineer based in Houston, TX, but can travel to our Broussard, LA site. The primary purpose of this role is to get familiar with our renewable technology and become the mechanical/operations expert. 

Responsibilities:

• Operational oversight during unit testing and evaluation.
• Resolve mechanical/operational issues.
• Oversight of maintenance and corrective actions.
• Data compilation, evaluation.
• Report writing, permitting, cost estimating support.
• Site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies.
• Become familiar with PLC/logic controls

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related Engineering degree.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Dependable with a high level of moral character.
• Previous experience with some of the following:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • CAD design of equipment
  • PLC/logic controls

Other Relevant Information:

• At least 2 years of experience working with industrial equipment
• This position will begin by working out of our Broussard, LA site. We expect to open a Houston, TX location in a year, at that point, this role will be in Houston, TX.
• We will cover all traveling expenses: gas, food, lodging etc.
