What we need...

As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees. Your meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in handling sensitive data, and strong Excel skills will be essential in managing payroll operations effectively.

What you'd do...

• Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees
• Review and verify timesheets for accuracy, making necessary adjustments as required
• Enter payroll data into databases and spreadsheets with precision and efficiency
• Handle direct deposit requests and data securely, maintaining confidentiality at all times
• Process paper checks for distribution and ensure all necessary signatures are acquired for payroll disbursement
• Facilitate the processing of wage garnishments in compliance with legal requirements
• Calculate commissions accurately and incorporate them into payroll calculations
• Make adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses, and commissions accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to payroll processing

What you'd need...

• At least five years of payroll experience, with demonstrated expertise in payroll processing
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced skills in data manipulation and analysis
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of payroll software and systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

This position is based in our office in St Louis Park, MN. Because we are in the early stages of building our Corporate team, we have found it valuable to be together in the office Monday-Thursday, and most of us work remotely on Fridays. We all have flexibility to work remotely on ad hoc days as personal demands arise.
