Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning centers in conjunction with the Creative Curriculum that promote intellectual and creative growth in children.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment, ensuring the well-being and happiness of all children in your care.
• Develop and maintain schedules and routines that balance physical activity, rest, and playtime. Infant classrooms are more on-demand care.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents, fostering open communication and trust.
• Regularly communicate with parents regarding students' growth, progress, and any concerns or achievements.
• Uphold the health and safety standards and policies of our childcare program, ensuring the well-being of all students.
• Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and childcare staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a CDA, 2-year, or 4-year degree in early childhood education or a related field with at least 9 credits in early childhood coursework.
• Previous experience in a childcare setting, teaching, or a related field.
• A genuine passion for working with children and helping them develop their skills and potential.
• Ability to establish rapport with children, creating a nurturing and supportive environment.
• Possess a positive and patient demeanor, understanding the unique needs and behaviors of young children.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
