The Bridal Shop is a full-service bridal boutique located in Coralville, IA. We were established in 2009 at Bella Sala Event Center. We are seeking a talented and passionate Bridal Consultant to join our team. As a Bridal Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping brides-to-be find their dream wedding dress and create an unforgettable experience. If you have a love for fashion, excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for someone that has at least 2 years of retail/management experience — training will be provided to a personable, professional individual with an eye for detail. Are you an energetic, proactive, fashionable, and professional person? This position might be perfect for you. Helping brides find the one takes confidence, knowledge, maturity, and excellent listening skills.

Requirements: Keep a professional, fashionable, and approachable appearance and demeanor. Adhere to company policies and confidentiality, you are a brand ambassador, you represent us and set a high standard.

Versatile & Flexible - change is always happening and clients’ needs and expectations are always different. Being proactive as well as being adaptive is necessary. Build Client Relationships that can last anywhere form 1 day to 1 year. Use communication skills to LISTEN to the guests and convey direction on knowledge and trends in the bridal world. There is a lot to learn in the bridal world, from technical things, like fabrics, to silhouette advice, to designer ship times, to length recommendations- You must be a quick learner that can retain a lot of information.

Other Job duties; Provide the highest level of customer service to our guests at all times, including in person/telephone/email/texting etiquette include helping and guiding brides and their entourage to find their attire, measuring to help choose sizes, filling out contracts accurately and explaining them, receiving, inspecting, and steaming inventory and special ordered gowns, helping brides during pick up appointments, fashion merchandising, cleaning the shop, schedule appointments via phone/email, knowledgeably answer client questions, network with other wedding pros, help with bridal shows, fashion shows, and styled shoots.

Bridal/Management/Bilingual experience is a plus!
