Job Summary:

Sunset Pacific Transportation is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Office Assistant to play a pivotal role in our fast-paced operations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation activities, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents.

- Coordinate and schedule appointments.

- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and other related documents.

- Communicate with customers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.

- Assist in answering and directing incoming phone calls and responding to inquiries as appropriate

- Address any issues or concerns related to transportation deliveries/shipments.

- Collaborate with other departments to optimize transportation processes and improve efficiency

- Assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in transportation coordination or a related field preferred

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Proficient in using Microsoft office programs
