Job Description
The Police Communications Officer in Training, under supervision, receives on-the-job training from Police Communication Officers and handles routine and emergency radio, telephone, and 911 calls for service following special or written instructions for transmitting and routing calls. Pay Rate: Starting hourly rate is $18.10
Important Position Details: Applicants must successfully pass psychological evaluation, drug screen, and complete background investigation to include, but not limited to driving history, criminal background, and credit history. Applicants must pass a timed typing test with a score of 45words per minute. Applicants must also pass a Critical Multitasking Dispatch Test.
